Many people experience higher levels of stress as they get older, due to a variety of factors such as work, family, and health issues. Elevated levels of the stress hormone cortisol can make it harder to lose weight and may even contribute to weight gain. As we get older, we may become less active due to changes in our lifestyle or health. This can lead to a loss of muscle mass and a decrease in overall fitness, which can make it harder to burn calories and maintain a healthy weight.

Poor sleep quality: Sleep patterns can change as we age, and many people find it more difficult to get a good night’s sleep as they get older. Poor sleep quality has been linked to weight gain and may make it harder to lose weight. So, a few key points for optimal health is to eat real food (as close to nature as possible), build muscle through resistance training and have an adequate protein intake.

I will create one-on-one fitness programs for my clients, motivating and guiding them to achieve their goals. I’ll evaluate your current fitness level and skills. This can be done in-person, online or a hybrid mix of both!

I am focused on educating my clients about making smarter food choices in order to achieve specific outcomes. It’s for the general population and NOT those who are looking for specific meal plans or treatment for a particular medical condition.

My work as a nutrition coach is to provide a personalized assessment of my clients’ dietary habits, to help you discover a plan to achieve your health and wellness goals through both dietary changes and lifestyle modifications.
